Michaela Clavell, Executive Producer of the Emmy nominated television series “Shōgun”

Friends of Clarence Dillon Public Library are delighted to welcome Michaela Clavell for our first event of the 2024-2025 season. The daughter of noted author James Clavell, who published several best-sellers in his 40-year career, Michaela is dedicated to bringing her father’s stories to a new generation. She worked as Executive Producer with FX and Hulu on the limited series “Shōgun,” which premiered in February of 2024, and received 25 Emmy nominations. Her talk will focus on her father’s work and her own work on the hit television show.
