Programs The Friends Support

The Clarence Dillon Public Library is at its very core a civic center that supports the educational and information needs of our community. Our library has a rich history, beginning in 1957 when a group of citizens saw the need for a public library for children, and eventually the library expanded to include the needs of adults. The community banded together and raised significant funds to purchase the land and develop the building that houses the Clarence Dillon Public Library today.

The Friends of Clarence Dillon Public Library raises money every year to supplement the generous tax-based funding provided by the Bedminster Township. The funds raised support vibrant and evolving programs that make Clarence Dillon Public Library a true community center. Some of the programs that we support are listed here. To learn more about our library and its programs please refer to the website: Clarence Dillon Public Library.
